THE EFFECT OF LITTLE CHANGES

I got into a conversation with a friend two days ago, precisely the eighth day of November in the year 2021. He commended me on a daily broadcast I usually share in the WhatsApp group we're both in, stating plainly that he listens to each one of them.

I was delighted! Glad to know that I had a consistent follower. Smiles... From his tone, I know he was being impacted through the broadcast. But there was some gap. He was having some challenges bridging the gap between hearing and doing what he's heard. My awareness of this brought my excitement a bit lower.

And I knew what the problem was because even while I met him, he was doing something I shouldn't have expected from him. But the truth remains, I still see him as a changed man.

No result comes outwardly and then goes inward. The change first starts from within before the results manifest outwardly. I didn't doubt what was happening within this friend of mine, but I could perceive his fear of expressing the change outwardly.

There are lots of good going on within you, which are yet to be seen by those around you. I believe in most people around me, but a lot of them waive the place of focus in bringing about desirable changes.

Focus makes you stable in readiness for the results you want. Without focus, you make merchandise of that which is yet to find expression in you.

I felt like talking to this friend about why he didn't act out on what he had heard from me. But I realized that that wasn't necessary because he knew what he was doing and if he desired to stop, he could do so without wasting more time.

Albert Einstein once wrote; “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.”

I know the ability everyone has, and I won't choose to appear contradictory on that. I won't also make you feel stupid because of what you're not doing now that should be done.

Furthermore, I know knowledge is influential as well as when we're ready to act on it, and it only works for us with regards to the degree to which we apply it.

What you choose not to do now could be because you have not found the best way to do it. However, that shouldn't obstruct the attention and the zeal to still accept and pay cognizance to the information that can guarantee your next phase of stability and consistency towards change.

I can tell you that 70% of the people around you know what they're doing, but they can't change to do more right than they do wrong. The remaining 30% know what is right, and they make it their lifestyle to live right intentionally.

The reason that someone doesn't look like it doesn't mean they can't become. There's a possibility beyond your imagination about individual approaches to changes within them.

You should see yourself beyond what you do now. But the things you do presently are the fuel into whom you can become.

Look beyond today but look into today to see tomorrow. You can't grow 100% above who you aren't currently. Who you're now, part of it will reflect or will make up to whom you can be.

Who you'll become tomorrow needs a deposit of how your now life can reflect. To have the effect of any change in your life, you must pay close attention to its goal.

What you're doing can stop you from having a certain change in your life. Because for one to have changed, it's pertinent to consider what you're doing first. If what you're currently into won't permit the change you seek, it's necessary to start with changing whatsoever you're doing now to be established in the change you want to embrace.

Change isn't accidental. It requires conscious effort in bringing about the results it offers. Some changes create a general sense of anxiety and stress that may escalate to anger and frustration. At that point, you need to stay true to yourself on what you want; that's the result of the change or what the change can do for you.
