GOD'S FAVOUR

Do you know that God gives favour?

Once upon a time, a young lady was among the captives taken to a strange country. She and her people were taken in as captives.

A time came that the king of that country was searching for a queen. The order was given and this young lady was among the hundreds of maidens who would be prepared to appear before the King. The King would then choose whom he was pleased.

This young lady obtained favour before the eunuch who was in charge of the maidens, and he gave her the right instructions and treatment that would make her very outstanding.

When the time came for the maidens to appear before the King, this lady again; among the hundreds of beautiful maidens, found favour before the King. At the end of the day, she made it and was crowned the queen.

That's the story of a Bible character by the name, Esther. Hers is a story of one among many people, who are wrapped up in favour.

Favour is real and can be experienced by people of all ages.

Favour is one of the blessings of God upon our lives as humans. It is seen as the supernatural force that adds to our human efforts and multiplies our results.

When I was growing up, I was extremely favoured by people, and these people were by no means related to me. It then dawned on me, that God favours us through the people around us.

Your action, well-doing, or mode of speech does not necessarily constitute the direction of your favour, although that can play a role in speeding it up.

God has given us things beyond our efforts and well-doing. Because even the best of our efforts in totality can't put us at the level we expect, except God wraps our efforts in His favour.

Also, favour doesn't follow the pathway which you clear for it. It builds on the activation which heaven renders it.

Most of the time, favour doesn't give you what you think you need or deserve, but what Jesus Christ, in His wisdom, sacrifice desires and designs for you.

To validate the place of favour in your life, you need to recognize the place of God in working favour on your behalf.

The best way to seize God's favour upon your life is to depend totally on Him more than your efforts.

The enemy will accuse you because of your previous sins or mistakes, trying to condemn you and make you think you're unfit to partake.

Rather than believe the lies of the enemy, you need to identify with the source of favour –Jesus Christ. Tell Him that you want Him to be Lord over your life, and enter a solid relationship with Him.

Why not pause and say that prayer now, if you haven't gotten into a relationship with Jesus. Just say that prayer now.

I believe you have made that prayer. The effect of that prayer will be that you'll start experiencing an increase in the level of favour you encounter daily.

But in all try to celebrate those that stand as the channel towards you experiencing these huge favours. To some, their strengths, resources, time were involved when others tell you no.

You can't stand to forget this act of love and empowerment. Just for once remember when you were down and nearly consumed.

In conclusion, favour is real. It is a gift from the Lord, and we experience it through men. How you regard and treat the people that can bring the favour from God into your life is crucial.

Note that God was in the business of favouring Esther but Hegai the eunuch who gave her choice treatments and made her fit was delighted to do so.

Favour can't pass from God directly to you. It can't also move from point A to B without willing channels to deliver on that account for your sake. Celebrate them!
